The morning sunlight was beginning to brighten up outside. I stood in front of the mirror and took one last look at myself. My outfit for today was a white cotton kurti paired with a matching deep blue dupatta. I had neatly draped the dupatta across both shoulders and secured it with pins. Today was the last date for college admission. The admission process had been stuck for a while due to various issues, but today I had to finish all the formalities at any cost.
